The simple and novel pickup arrangement of 1S1H, and the combination of the front single and power and edge of the rear ham backing covers a wide range of ranges from clean sound to heavy distortion sounds, and is compatible with the Vasa Tile playing style, which is also the original concept of the Pacifica series. It is a step above in terms of functionality and appearance, including Grover Locking Tuners, Graph Tech Black TUSQ Nuts, and Tortoise Shell 4-Ply Pickguards.
