●(Materials) This MELACOT series uses synthetic leather AppleSkin, jointly developed by Mabel and FRUMAT, based in Northern Italy. The worlds leading apple, in Bolzano, northern Italy, the environmental problem of the waste of processed apple products has been a challenge for many years. Thats why we developed the innovative Apple Skin material in 2019 by utilizing pulp waste from apple juice. Mabel is responsible for the production of leather and FRUMATs recycling process to collect the raw materials. This is a bio-based artificial leather that combines the powder of cellulose fibers from the waste of apple juice, combined with polyurethane and cotton. It is now gaining attention as an environmentally sustainable alternative leather that does not use any animal ingredients. Because the fiber material is similar to natural leather, it is more flexible and durable and water resistant than ordinary PU synthetic leather

Description
