Function:
1 Through the MIDI adapter board, other microcontrollers can access the powerful MIDI communication protocol. MIDI protocol and asynchronous serial interface have many similarities, so users can send MIDI event messages using a microcontroller UART pin.
2. MIDI adapter board provides MIDI-IN and MIDI-OUT connections and MIDITHRU ports. MIDI port is light isolation to prevent ground loops. The MIDI adapter board can be installed directly like a shield on the top of the board. Connect MIDI-IN/ THRU to hardware RX pins, connect MIDI-OUT to TX. It can transfer its data and analog pin, power bus and buses.
3 With the RUN / PGM switch, users can program the serial port of the forboard without disassembling the board. Note: 3-hole MIDI connectors are not soldered to the MIDI adapter board, but these connectors are included with this product.
4 The 2.54mm pin header on each side of the extension is easy to connect to your project. Easy to operate. MIDI IN switch, can turn off data reception.
