The architecture of Intel® QLC technology on the SSD 660p is built to intelligently improve performance. The drive QLC and SLC "span" are adjusted in two directions based on used capacity over the life of the product. Increased capacity utilization reduces SLC span and reduces capacity utilization rates that increase SLC span.
