To prevent wear on the bridge and bridge plate during play, we added soft silk wrap to the ball end of the Authentic Acoustic string.
Silk wrap always has a protective layer in the perfect position every time you change the string.
The string in this series provides silk wrap for bridge protection, corrosion resistance and excellent tuning stability.
If you are using a vintage instrument, this string is the perfect choice.

With the 2018 Martin string lineup renewal, the "MARQUIS" series of Martin Acoustic Guitar Strings is passed down to this AUTHENTIC ACOUSTIC Marquis Silked series. The MA540S is the successor to Martin M-2100.
