Plug & PlayIf you are using a system that supports "USB Type-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode", you can easily and inexpensively connect additional external monitors with adapters or cables that support alternate mode.No additional driver deployment is required. Since this "DisplayPort Alternate Mode" allows direct access to the systems GPU directly, an external monitor connected using alternate mode compatible adapter can provide the same performance as a monitor connected directly to the graphics port provided on the system motherboard. If the system can provide sufficient CPU/GPU performance, it can also be used for video and image editing, gaming and other relatively high load applications. |
4K PerformanceConnect to monitors with DisplayPort input at resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz (4K 60Hz). Also works with other common resolutions such as 3440x1440, 2560x1440, 1920x1080. Note: Not for use with HDMI monitors or TVs.Use with monitors that have DisplayPort input port. |
Flexible Flat CableFlat printed circuit cables are flat and flexible, which makes them more difficult to damage due to daily wear than existing round cables.Flat cables are easy to install in tight spaces, and they are less likely to cause cable confusion. |
Compact and lightweight4.3cm x 2.3cm x 1.1cm size, can be installed in tight spaces. It is very lightweight and compact so it is portable and doesnt take up much space. |
