JetKids BedBox Development Background
The developers, Christina and Halvor, are a Norwegian couple with two children.Both avid travelers, but their children were having trouble sleeping during the trip, even though they’re tired.To be able to sleep, the child would need to be on a parent’s lap during the flight, leaving both of them exhausted.
After hearing the same concerns from a couple of their friends, they came up with the idea of a 3-in-1 suitcase that can be used to put their child to sleep while having the convenience of a ride-on suitcase for traveling with children who have a lot of luggage.
Christina works in the travel industry and her husband is an aeronautical engineer. Based on their work background and experience as parents, they partnered with a Norwegian design company to create what is now BedBox.
