How to crimp terminals

Pass through sleeve

Pre-inserting the insulated sleeve into the sheathed wire cord.

If the terminal is squeezed, it will not pass through, so you cannot cover it on the root.

Pass the cord through the terminal.

The cores of the cord are positioned on the small claws of the terminal, and the cord is covered in the large claws of the terminal.

Crimp terminals (1) (Core wire section temporary crimping)

In order to tighten the small claws on the core wire, the electrical pliers are 1.25-2.0 at the point of the electrical workers pliers and hold the small nails to the core wire.Temporary

At this time, please check if the claws are fallen to form an M shape.If you do not fall symmetrically, you will not be able to squeeze it.

Crimp terminals (2) (Core wire section: Honkime)

Tighten the claws that are temporarily fixed to the core wire, tightly tightened to the 0.5 to 0.75 places of electric pliers.

Please do not attempt to double crimp as the claws and core lines may be damaged.With one larger core, temporarily tamper to adjust the shape and position, then apply the core line size.

Tighten terminals (3) (check the core.

Make sure that the small nails are caught in the picture to ensure they are firmly biting into the core line.

Crimp terminals (4) (Coverage part)

Second, compress the large claws of the terminal.At the 3.0 part of the electric pliers you can use a light grip to hold the claws on the sheath.Temporary

At this time, please check if the claws are fallen to form an M shape.You cant squish it without symmetrically falling down.

Crimp terminals (5) (Covering part)

Tighten the large claws that are temporarily temporarily temporarily temporarily held into the jacket with a tightening point of 1.25 to 2.0 electricians pliers.

Please do not attempt to crimp twice as the clamps and covering parts of the terminal.Temporary tapping to adjust the shape and position, and then apply a compensation at a location that is equivalent to the size of the cover.Also, please note that if the cover is too strong in the opposite direction, the core lines of the coating and the inner cores of the sheath may be damaged.

Compress terminals (6) (check the cover part)

Make sure the large claws are caught in the picture and check if they are biting into the cover.

Final confirmation of terminal clamps

Pull the terminal and cord to check if it is not pulled out.

If you do not squeeze it firmly, it will come out.If you remove this during installation, it is important to check the cores may come in contact with metal parts of the car and shorting depending on the polarity, not only the disconnection of the wire.Furthermore, the clamps are secured with a small nail at the core line, and the large claws on the covering part are an aid in securing them.

Cover the sleeve

The pre-wired sleeve is placed over the compressed part.
