When CD audio playback, there is a lead error that cannot be corrected even due to scratches or fingerprints on the disk, adjust the reading method, reread, and reduce the occurrence of error data interchange.The BDR-XD08 and AD08 series features the PureRead 3+ which has further evolved the "PureRead" series."PureRead 3+" will start a new algorithm and reread if the data is not readable even after rereading.Accurate data reading is more accurate than ever before.Equipped with BDXL compatible pickup for improved CD reading performance and high precision CD reading.
PureReads principle and operation
For accurate CD-AUDIO ripping, it is important that the drive itself knows the individual state of the disc and attempts to properly alter and read the parameters.Due to individual differences on hard surfaces only, all patterns cannot be supported.Thats why we have improved by combining lead-parameter control with the firmware "Pure Read".Change and retract the parameters for many factors such as anti-fingerprint, scratches, dust, and distortion.This algorithm is designed with pioneers own know-how and ingenuity.When performing frequent retrieves, operating systems may cause error handling so proper implementation is an important point.
Please note
- The pure lead function will not work on disks that do not interrupt such as if your new CD audio disk is not scratched or messy.
- This function can be set via the "Pioneer BD Drive Utility" which can be downloaded free from the manufacturers site.
- Purelead can also be used with CD playback/take software other than the included software (not guaranteed to work with all softwares).
