Description

Plugable USB Type-C to HDMI 2.0 Adapter

This Plugable USB 3.1 Type-C to HDMI 2.0 Adapter allows you to connect an HDMI monitor to a 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz (4K/UHD) resolution to a USB Type-C (USB-C) port or system with Thunderbolt 3 port. If your system supports "USB Type-C Alternate Mode" you can use an adapter or cable that supports alternate mode such as this will make it possible to connect additional external monitors inexpensively and easily. FEATURES This USB Type-C cable allows you to connect your systems USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 port to an HDMI-enabled monitor. Works with Windows, Mac and Linux systems. Displays resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz when using HDMI compatible systems, monitors and cables that meet the HDMI 2.0 standard. Also supports common resolutions such as 1920x1080(1080P), 2560x1440, 3440x1440, and 3440x1440. Compliant with VESA standard "DisplayPort Alternate Mode on USB Type-C Connector" and HDMI 2.0 standards. This conversion cable is completely plug and play. There is no need to introduce this dedicated driver, and it is powered by a USB port and does not require any power supply.(But the host system side requires graphics that support alternate mode and driver for USB host controllers are running correctly. Note 1: This adapter itself supports up to 60Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution, but the maximum resolution in actual use depends on the system and monitor specifications used. For example, Apple 12″ Retina MacBook 2015/2016 does not support a 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz output, and the refresh rate is limited to 30Hz. Note 2: This adapter must be used directly to plug into the USB Type-C port of your computer system.DisplayPort replacement mode is unavailable via USB Type-C hub, etc.(This is not limited for USB devices that can pass through DisplayPort alternate mode. Note 3: Even if the motherboard has multiple USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 ports, the alternative mode video output may be limited to one at a moment. In such cases, it will not be able to connect multiple replacement mode adapters or cables.

Same performance as a monitor connected directly to the motherboard

"DisplayPort Alternative Mode" allows direct access to the systems GPU with special features available from USB 3.1.Therefore, there is no performance issues like using "USB external graphics adapter".A monitor connected via this adapter can provide and function exactly the same performance as a monitor connected directly to the graphics port provided by the system motherboard. Even applications that require a lot of video and image editing, games and other system resources can be used without any problems on external monitors via this adapter if the system itself has enough GPU capability.

HDMI 2.0, 4K TV and HDMI Cable Note : The highest resolution defined by the HDMI 2.0 standard, 3840x2160@60Hz is twice the data transfer of the highest resolution of HDMI 1.4 specifications. In order to transfer such high bandwidth, it is necessary to use an HDMI 2.0 compliant cable. Please note that using HDMI 1.4/1.3 compliant cable may cause issues such as dark displays, noise displayed on screen, and frequently separated monitors. If you use this adapter to connect your HDMI 2.0 4K TV, we strongly recommend updating your TVs firmware and software to the latest state for compatibility, performance and stable operation.
