This is a Mega-Pololu shield or a shorter lamp designed to fit the entire electronics needs RepRap in one small package, and at a low cost. RAMPS interfaces the powerful Aduino MEGA platform with Aduino Mega platform, and many room extensions. The modular design shields MEGA easy service, parts change, upgrades, capabilities and expansion to Aduino includes stepper drivers and extruder control electronics. The number of Aduino expansion boards can also be added to the system so that the main RAMPS plate is maintained at the top of the stack.
