A chair with timeless universal beauty

Designed by two people in 1958 by Friso Kramer and Wim Reetfelt. The plywood seat and steel legs have a three-dimensional molded seat shape that is full of originality and still very popular throughout the day.

The "Compass Leg" combines lightweight and durability.

Constructed of steel, the inverted V-leg is called a compass leg, resulting in a sharp design that tapers to the tip. This revolutionary inverted V-leg construction combines lightweight and durability, and has established one style in the Netherlands from the 60s to 70s. The characteristic frame is made of a thin steel plate that is very sturdy unlike a clean look.
