Description

Size:M12 (P=1.25)

■Shape: Small hexagonal nut (with friction ring)

Hex nut for loosening and a spring-action friction ring on the top creates friction on the screw such as bolts to prevent loosening.
2 sides smaller than standard loosening hex nuts.
Use a tool such as a spanner or wrench to tighten it.
■ Thread Shape: Fine
Finer than the nations most standard pitch (coarse) prescribed by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standard. Compared to coarse threads, it has a shallow valley and a larger cross-section area which makes it less likely to loose. Please note that there are multiple sizes of pitch depending on the thickness of the screw. Primarily used where precision is required.
■Material: Iron
Iron is steel. Steel is an alloy of iron containing less than 2% carbon.
Although it is commonly used in many circulations, it is cheap materials, but due to the downside of it is easy to rust, many surface treatments will reduce corrosion.
■Surface treatment: Trivalent white
It has the same corrosion resistance as "chromate" and has the same possibility of imitation self-healing.
Unlike hexavalent chrome, it is non-toxic and compliant with RoHS directive. So it is used as an alternative to unichromate/chromate.
Color is "Silver Color".
Product Features:
Shape
A ring that has a spring effect on the nut (the material called friction ring is SUS301) is integrated into it.
This is a "small" U nut with a smaller width than the usual "U-nut".

Features
The spring action of the friction ring creates friction on the male thread, creating a loosening effect.
Can be fixed in an intermediate position.
All metal construction with excellent heat resistance.
