Description
■ Head Shape: Hexagonal
Hex Head Screw.
Use a tool such as a spanner or wrench to tighten it.
■ Thread Shape: Fine [Half thread]
Finer than the nations most standard pitch (coarse) prescribed by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standard. Compared to coarse threads, it has a shallow valley and a larger cross-section area which makes it less likely to loose. Please note that there are multiple sizes of pitch depending on the thickness of the screw. Primarily used where precision is required.
In addition, "half-thread" means that the screw is only cut from the end to the end. The length of the threaded part may vary depending on the manufacturer, size, etc.
■Material: Iron (SCM435)
It is called chrommolybdenum steel alloy for mechanical structures, and is an alloy steel with good hardening properties.
Contains Cr (chromium) for better corrosion resistance than "iron".
Stronger than "iron" or "S45C".
■Surface treatment: unichrome
Chromate-treated with only luster.
The hexavalent chrome content is rare, and the corrosion resistance is less than chromate. Hexavalent chrome is hazardous and does not comply with RoHS directive. The alternative is trivalent white.
Color is "Silver Color".
