When you put it into the backgear (AV1) while playing DVDs, etc., the monitor will automatically switch to video from the camera (AV2).
It will automatically return to a DVD or other playback screen.
When the monitor is turned off.
When you put it into the back-gear, it will automatically turn on and display video from the camera (AV2).
When the gear is switched, it will automatically turn off.
