The "GEO CYCLONE" track and field spike from Mizuno is recommended for beginners.
This model is designed for short distances with an emphasis on resilience and grip.

[GEO PLATE Type-SH (SPRINT HALF PLATE)] High speed stability plate that allows for smooth load transfer from ground to kick. Less resilience and more flexible than the GEO SPRINT
[Sprint Exclusive Upper] Adopts an upper structure that reduces heel dropping which is considered to be used as a loss movement when running a sprint.
Sprint Design Pin Arrangement: Adopts a 3-row 8-pin arrangement with excellent grip and stability. The 4 pins on the tread section dramatically increase the grip when the sprint is operated.
BioLock (R) Structure: The shoelace fit that wraps around the shoe and BioLock (R) construction improves ankle hold to prevent shaking during intense sprinting movements, providing excellent support for dynamic movement.
[Sprint Last] Adopts a "sprint last" with a high heel and easy to take on the predecomended posture. It allows for a fast dash at start and dramatically increases the highest speed.
Mizuno Green Grade Silver Medal: This product is certified as the Mizuno Green Grade, Silver Medal, a new certification criteria for environmentally friendly products that take into account the effective use of resources, reducing CO2 emissions and environmental pollutants.

【MIZUNO / ミズノ】
100年以上の歴史を誇る、日本の大手スポーツメーカーのひとつ「ミズノ」。
日本で近代スポーツが本格的に受け入れられ始めた1906年の大阪で、水野利八と弟の利三が「ミズノ」の前身である「水野兄弟商会」を創業。
その頃は洋品雑貨のほか野球ボールやグローブなどを販売する商店でした。
当時のスポーツ用品はほとんど海外製が主流であり、国内に専門のメーカーは存在しなかったので、水野は国内初のメーカーとして本格的なスポーツ用品を製造することを決意し、自ら野球ボールやグローブの開発に取り掛かります。
会社の名前は「美津濃株式会社」に改名しました。

その後戦争による混乱と苦難を乗り越え、終戦を迎えるとすぐに活動を再開。
野球だけでなく、ゴルフやスキー、ランニングなどその他の人気スポーツにおける商品開発にも力を入れるようになり、多くのスポーツに「ミズノ」の製品を投入しやがて総合スポーツブランドとして広く認知されていきます。
そして1964年に開催された東京オリンピックでも多くの競技、選手に自社製品を納入することになり、「ミズノ」の名はさらに大きく広まりました。

1980年代以降は海外へも積極的に進出、アメリカ、アジア、ヨーロッパ、オセアニアと世界のあらゆる地域へと拡大。
「ミズノ」は世界でも屈指の総合スポーツブランドとして国内外から高い評価を受け、ほとんどすべての競技種目の用品を生産しています。
