Description:
- These 7 segment displays typically require 13 pins (5 letters and 8 segments).
- Eliminate the hassle of using 13 pins or multiple chips by placing I2C Constant Current Matrix Controller neatly on the back of the PCB.
- Controller chip draws all LEDs in the background
- Simply write data using the 2-pin I2C interface
- There are 3 address selection pins, you can control up to 8 addresses by selecting one of the 8 addresses on one 2-pin I2C bus (other I2C chip or sensor).
- Driver chip can dim the entire display from 1/16 brightness to 1/16 level maximum brightness.
- Individual LEDs cannot be darkened and only turned off the entire display at a time.
