The IR720 PRO is an IR pass filter that transmits near infrared rays over 720nm.
Since it cuts visible light and transmits near infrared rays, you can use it instead of L images when taking pictures in Hα areas or planetary images, and highlight patterns on planetary surfaces. By cutting out visible light and only near infrared rays can be seen, you can expect to capture sharp images that reduce the effects of sheathing
Synthetic quartz glass is used for the substrate. It is stronger than normal optical glass and has excellent heat resistance, so the coating distortion is smaller than normal, and it has excellent vapor deposition stability and surface accuracy.
Typical IR pass filters are often colored glass filters, but all IR PRO series filters are high-precision vapor deposited filters that minimize image degradation even during high-magnification planetary shooting.
The size is an American size (1.3 inches (31.7 mm) that is convenient for taking photos with CMOS cameras such as ZWOs and QHY.

Depending on the telescope or lens, it may not be able to install it.
The characteristics of this product are dependent on the angle of the light entering the light. It is recommended to be used with a telephoto lens or telescope for proper performance. Wide angle lens creates uneven brightness and color balance on the screen.
Please use the commercially available image processing software to adjust the color balance.
