Even without having to attach the Thermostat Clutch Cover by Takekawa Corporation Thermostat Function, it allows for constant oil temperature control and prevents overcooling. ■ Adopts a compact shape that enhances versatility and storage, and can be used on many motorcycles from small to large vehicles. The main unit has an M5 female thread, so you can fix it with your own stays, etc. It can also be fixed using a tie wrap. ■ Thermo Unit: Adopts a 2-way bias type with memory foam alloy spring in the basic structure. Using memory alloy springs, it reacts to temperature changes is extremely fast. The bias spring ensures relief passage even if the oil cooler gets clogged and the hydraulic rises. The thermounit closes when the oil temperature is low, and does not flow into the oil cooler, and returns to the filter through the bypass passage. The valve opens at approximately 154°F (70°C) and flows into the oil cooler, preventing overcooling and maintaining the temperature of the oil.
