Surgery:
1. Connect the antenna cable to the left F female and the cable of the battery pack to the right F female Remove the external amplifier* that may be connected to the antenna.
2. Adjust the antenna to the best position while watching the meter reads. The higher the scale, the better the signal. Once the viewfinder readings are reached to a full scale, adjust the level control knob to reduce the reading value by approximately 5 (turn the knob clockwise to reduce the reading). The antenna will continue working until the meter is read as high as possible.
3. Remove the finder and replace the disconnected amplifier.
