- For use on ridgeboard: If there is material, the green light on the module will always be on. Green light turns off when the material is used out. The board will perform operations and wait for the person to replace a good product, then continue printing.

- For use with other boards: The raw module uses a level jump detection method. If there is a material, the level signal of the detection port must be the lure. If there is no material, the level signal of the material port is low, and the system detects it. When transition from high to low is determined, the material is considered to be worn out and a pause is performed. After human exchange the material, the printer will continue to print.
