The ZOOM H8 is a versatile handy recorder with a 2.4-inch color touch screen that allows you to operate your smartphone like a smartphone, and three apps (FIELD, MUSIC, PODCAST) that optimizes functionality and UI to suit your project. The XY stereo microphone (XYH-6) comes standard and can record 8 channels input signals in multi-track with 6 external inputs (4 XLR inputs and 2 XLR/TRS combo inputs). Compatible with ZOOM proprietary microphone capsule replacement system and can be replaced with existing ZOOM microphone capsules such as MS stereo microphones, shotgun microphones and other depending on your application. Furthermore, you can use three microphone capsules with XY/AB microphone, VR microphone, and 4CH XLR input, which are scheduled to release in late 2020, allowing you to expand the possibilities of portable recording.
