This display module consists of 128 x 64 pixels and has a diagonal of only 1.3 inches. Controller ic SSH1106 communicates via IIC/4-wire serial interface. No backlight required, so power consumption is very low.

Ultra low power consumption: The display emits its its own light and does not require backlight. This reduces the power required to run OLEDs. So power consumption is very low (much lower than TFT, LCD and other technologies).
