Mold Star rubber is easy to use platinum silicone mixed with volume of 1A:1B (no measuring scale required). Mold Star silicone is relatively low viscosity and requires no vacuum degasing for most applications. Mold Star silicone cures soft and strong rubber. It is tear resistant and has a very low long-term shrinkage. Mold Star molds can be used for a long time in the library of mold and are suitable for casting wax, plaster, resin, concrete and other materials. The hardened mold star rubber is suitable for casting low-temperature fused metal alloys with a heat resistant temperature of 450°F (232°C). NOTE: THI-VEX will NOT fit Mold Star rubber.
