Bosphorus History
Bosphorus Cymbal was founded in 1996 by three cymbal craftsmen named Hasan Seker, Ibrahim Yakici, and Hasan Ozdemir.
They are the most experienced cymbal artisans in Turkey and are called "mast."
The founder of the Bosphorus, the three artisans have become a familiar childhood and became a cymbal artisan at a very young age and fully trained every step of the cymbal creation and mastering their skills.
They were the masters who created a legendary cymbal in the 60s and 70s and learned the traditional method.
After working in the workshop for 16 years, three established their own company, but still maintain good relationships with old employees and are working on cymbal production while still maintaining respect for teachers who learned to make cymbal until today.
Bosphorus Cymbal Company currently owns 16 cymbal craftsmen, eight of which are under control.
Three Cymbal Masters continue to work in their workshop with nearly 30 years of experience while helping them create the perfect cymbal for their disciples.
