Description

Surfy Industries StereoMaker is an ABY pedal with stereo effects and various functions. While the common ABY pedals simply divide the input source into two pieces, the StereoMaker is fully buffered and loaded with features such as soft touch JFET switching, transformer isolation output, simulated stereo effects, 180 degree phase reverse, and ground lift.

In stereo mode, you can activate stereo width (width) and volume control to get faux-stereo sound. The PAD switch allows you to attenuate the line level signal to the instrument level. The StereoMaker can also be used as a direct box to convert unbalanced signals into balanced signals, making it a useful tool for keyboard players and recording studios.

PSEUDO STEREO EFFECT (Y)
StereoMakers simulated stereo effects are generated using analog complementary comb filters. This unique feature allows you to simulate a mix of sound and reflected sons in a very realistic way. This effect is generated with 100% analog circuitry to safely mix back to mono. No adverse effects or side effects on the sound.

OUT-OF-PHASE SIGNALS
When you ring two guitar amplifiers, it may cause phase issues, which may cause inclear sound or problems called "hollow sound". The main cause is due to the two guitar amplifiers used in different gain stages. Surfy Industries StereoMaker incorporates a 180 degree polarity reverse circuit to match the phase of the amplifier. Simply pull out the output plug halfway to turn the reverse phase.

Automatically detects polarity to allow for use with center plus/center negative power supply.
