About KAAZ LSD

The KAAZ LSD has a built-in clutch plate and pressure ring that is activated by pressing the clutch plate to provide a very strong locking performance and excellent driving response.
The LSD acts as a standard defense when the vehicle is facing straight or when the drive wheel has the same.
Once there is a differential between the left and right drive wheels, the cross shaft placed in the center of the RSD pushes and unrolls the pressure ring and compresses the clutch plate.
When all clutch plates are fully interlocking the left and right drive wheels are locked and torque from the engine is equally transmitted to both wheels.

KAAZ LSD Type

KAAZ has two types of LSD (1.5 and 2 ways). There are 2 different cam grooves in the pressure ring, and you can choose different effects during acceleration and deceleration.
By choosing the right one (1.5 or 2 way) to match your race type, skill and level to maximize performance.

1.5-way difference.

Basically, 1.5-way differing is recommended for most motorsports.
Performance is optimized at acceleration and is light during subsequent deceleration.
This is the ultimate traction in road racing.

2-way difference.

In general, drifting competition, the combination of high initial torque, high cam angle and clutch plate arrangement for maximum locking percentages is a good result.
The KAAZ 2WAY LSD provides the same locking condition as accelerated when the engine brakes (gear bite is throttle off), allowing the vehicle to be predictable as possible.
Until now, the gear type LSD has been able to lock the left and right drive wheels, so the power transfer to the rear wheel is irregular and generated a huge amount of heat.
The KAAZ 2WAY LSD is designed to maintain lateral slide control on the rear wheel even during shifting, making it a better option for drifting.

About Clutch Plate Material

All KAAZ LSD uses a special metal clutch plate.
In addition, the special metal clutch plate has WPC treated specifications (SUPER Q).
