IR filters are widely used in solid state (CCD or CMOS) video cameras and allow IR, due to many camera sensors sensitive to near-infrared light.
X-ray filters usually block some of the light from shorter visible light and UV wavelengths so they have a blue hue.
Digital cameras are typically equipped with IR shut-off filters to prevent unnatural images. IR transmittance (pass) filter or removal of factory IR shut-off filter is commonly used in infrared photography to pass through infrared rays to block visible light and UV rays.
These filters look black in the eyes, but are clear when seen on infrared sensitive devices.
What light source should I use infrared filter?
IR filters block all visible light under related wavelengths and are highly sensitive to UV rays.
The infrared exchanger is 590nm, 600nm, and 630nm. Rich colors, custom white balance, the sky of the original film is generally bright red, partial brown or amber, plant leaves blue, color saturation of the sky after posttreatment, leaves are yellow or golden yellow.
680nm for indoor and weak shadows.
750nm for indoor and low light
