Johnstons was founded in 1797 in Elgan, located in northeast Scotland. Owned by the Johnston and Harrison family for over 200 years, we have been making fabrics such as cashmere, bikina, merino wool, lambswool, camel hair, and home furnishing. We are still a manufacturer with a rare and consistent production facility in the UK that still works with raw hair selection, spinning and weaving (woven) and knitting.
