In 1950, the French climb troops served the first 8,000 m peak. The reputation of Milleys blossomed around the world in 1978, after the Rinholt Menner accomplished the worlds first Oxygen-free climb with Milleys Zack and Wear.
Two years later, Menar achieved the worlds first alone, one of the worlds first obtained Everest Oxygen-free climbs and became the first person to reach the 14 mountain peaks of 8,000 meters.
