The AH-64D Apache Longbow is the evolution of the all-weather attack helicopter AH-64A apache developed and adopted according to the American Army Developmental Attack Helicopter (AAH) plan.
The radar equipped model was called the AH-64D Apache Longbow and the model without radar are AH-64C, but at the end of 1993, the AH-64C was retired and was called the AH-64D Apache Longbow, regardless of whether the radar is equipped or not.
The biggest feature of the built-in sensors is the Firearm Control Radar (FCR), also known as Longbow Radar attached to the top of the main rotor mast, auto-selection of goals for detection, identification, and attack objectives, and integrated system management makes it a new generation of attack helicopters with excellent control in combat performance.
