Built-in speaker simulation is an integral part of the CLASSIC series circuit. Each model is tuned to match the speaker/cabinet of the amplifier. It is designed to achieve a smooth, even response that is achieved by multi-mixed cabinets without mountains, valleys and notches associated with a single mix. Speaker curve shape will not adversely affect or disturb the frequency response of your cabinet. When used with a guitar amplifier, there is no need to disable the speaker simulation circuit. Speaker simulation works in conjunction with EQ controls. Custom tunes the overall sound.
Features:
LEVEL: Adjust the output level of the unit. This control has a very wide range to maximize compatibility with a variety of devices.
LOW, HIGH, MID: The onboard post EQ section gives you complete control of the studio mixing board as you operate at your fingertips. Unlike passive tone controls that are just cut, these active controls cut to ±12dB and boost. Low is adjusted to 125Hz. High frequency is 3.2kHz. The Mid is custom tailored for each model.
DRIVe: Adjust the overall amount of gain and overdrive as if the output section of the vacuum tube amplifier is pressed. The first half of the rotation increases not only the overdrive but also the volume.
Voice: Different sound for each pedal in the series Eliminates the possibility of various tone associated with each style of amplifiers. In addition to changes in frequency response, Voice also affects each specific amplifier style attack and drive characteristics. Therefore, after adjusting the voice control, you may need to adjust the gain and tone settings.
Note: Use only the negative polarity in the middle of the stabilized 9V D/C adapter.
