This Macbrush Series 444 Virus II is a soft type of Series 444 Virus bristles that were sold earlier.

The difference in the hardness of the bristles may need to be used with water and oil based on paint viscosity.
For use with water-based and viscosity paints, we recommend Series 444 Virus II with a low viscosity or oil based paint for use with soft bristles.
