The Tannoy Platinum F6 is a 3-way configuration with a 1" (2.5cm) tweeter unit and a 6.5" (16.5cm) woofer unit for mid buses.
This is a floor standing model from the Platinum series that shows off a stylish design.
The newly developed 1" tweeter unit features a traditional silk dome that looks like the UK.
Smooth tone for accurate details of vocals and instruments. Plus, Platinums exclusive paper and composite 6.5" custom woofer cones deliver a wide range and high speed low gamut.
Two woofer units are equipped with a mid-range and bass range via a newly designed 3-way network.
Rare-Earth (Nd-Fe-B) high magnetic magnets are used beyond class, which contribute to the original sound reproduction thanks to its powerful magnetic force.
The cabinet uses a wide range of internal bracing (splinter) to reduce unwanted vibrations in the cabinet itself, and minimizes color to the sound.
Bass reflex ports located in the rear to bring out rich, deep bass.
Uses large speaker terminals that support banana plugs and Y-lugs that can be connected to the thickest high-grade speaker cables.
