Feature(may vary by option.)

●The elements required for the diaphragm are 1. Lightweight for agile movement (deceleration); 2. Rigid for intense piston driving; 3. The color is eliminated against the sound of the material and has high attenuation characteristics (dampening); and the KarityTM cone meets all these conditions. KlarityTM cones are high rigidity to reduce the flex of the unit itself, and are lightweight for low frequency playback with superior rendering performance. The KlarityTM cones also simulate many different cone shapes resulting in added resin ribs to increase the rigidity of 15%. KlarityTM cones achieve flat response properties without relying on high damping
●Precision engineered magnetic system with aluminum rings that play a role in minimizing the influence of interinterintercdance (inductor) fluctuations occurring when voice coil is powered Aluminum rings on the DIAMOND 12 series magnetic systems help suppress energy caused by distortion and interinterinterference
●The DIAMOND 12 series voice coils are wrapped in a fiberglass bobbin with an expensive high output epoxy resin that is unrivaled in its class. Epoxy resin works to suppress the generation of excess current formed by electromagnetic induction, and has superior power handling and higher rigidity compared to aluminum bobbins used in many speaker systems
●The DIAMOND 12 series tweeters are surface treated with a 25mm polyester woven film that allows for smooth expansion and treble reproduction. The front plate is flat and allows the dome to be exposed as much as possible to smoothly extend the treble. It also balances acoustic loads with only front play ducts, and the magnetic system optimizes sound pressure levels
●The DIAMOND 12 series crossovers feature a phase acoustic adjustment system at LKR 24dB found in many high-end speakers. Adjust at LKR 24dB to suppress distortion caused by intercdance. The resistance of DIAMOND 12 series voice coil is higher than standard laminated steel plates and ferrites which require optimization of medium and bass magnetic structures. Correction treatment allows for clear medium bass playback with low distortion

Description

Wharfedale DIAMOND 12 Series

Since the introduction of the first DIAMOND series in 1981, the series has always evolved for 40 years. The concept of the DIAMOND series is to provide the best performance at low prices and continues to be the forefront of low priced Hi-Fi speakers. We also received numerous compliments at the same time. Since 2000, DIAMOND 8 Series, DIAMOND 9 Series, DIAMOND 10 Series, DIAMOND 200 Series and many DIAMOND Series have won many awards for many years.

In 2021, Wharfedale releases the most complete DIAMOND series ever made. Wharfedale invited to join one of the worlds leading speaker designers, ALR/JORDAN chief engineers "Karl-HeinzFink", and developed the DIAMOND 12 series with wharfedale engineers. The DIAMOND 12 series is based on the price range of the DIAMOND series, contemporary and cool industrial design, and exceptional acoustic design and engineering assignment.

The Diamond 12 Series rear port enclosure has a branch structure that controls the back pressure of the drive unit that occurs inside the enclosure. Strut construction is computer simulated, model specific Multi-layer sandwich construction cab net simulates cabinet and front panel adhesives to optimize and suppress internal resonance properties.
