Description

The Czech Republic brand "Kohinol" was founded by Josef Hardtmuth in Vienna in 1790. In 1848, the production of graphite reeds was moved to Chescave Jayovice. In the meantime, KOH-I-NOOR pencils were a huge success at many exhibitions around the world. The product was won numerous awards in Milan in 1905 in 1855 in 1856, 1900 and 1925 in London, 1862 in Vienna 1882.
