Description

Solid Tennis String

This is a new type of string that is not poly or nylon with a combination of durability and a nylon hold.

Uses Aramid series super fiber with excellent heat resistance of CX, and has succeeded in commercial.

CX stands for Caloric Xtra Super Heat Resistance.
The CX is a fiber that can withstand up to 430 degrees Celsius whereas common nylon and polyester strings melt at 210 to 250 degrees Celsius.
The CX fiber is wrapped around the mono multi-filament to create an ultra-durable Kaijima shape structure that is hard to be affected by friction heat with the ball.

AK PRO CX Fine Gauge (1.24mm)
By wrapping 4 CX fibers around the core of Kaijima, the heat resistance is increased, making it a super durable Kaijima string that will never beat the friction heat with the ball.
Hitting the racquet surface with a 100 mph tennis ball on a 60 lb racket and how many times it can be cut at our research and development center hitting tests that last 1,100 times even though it is 17 gauge.
The existing AK PRO 17 has 600 times to increase durability by 83%.
The striking feel generally feels hard, but the super hard hitter has an instant feel of a ball (feels soft and hold), making it easy to spin on.
