Description

We offer designs to artists of the traditional Okinawa (Ryukyo) dye, and plan and sell hand washcloths that are dyed using the method of dyeing process. Ryukyo Bingata is the only stain that was born and grown in Okinawa, and it is a unique dye with pigments that look great under the strong sun of Okinawa. In addition, the dye technique is a type of glue stain prevention, where the pattern is placed on top of the fabric and then each piece is painted with stain resistant glue and then carefully fold the fabric. It features a pouring dye from the top of this and infused the dye into the non-staining pattern and dyeing both front and back. The Goatsei Red Style Tenugui series is an original hand towel made with a dye-dyeing technique designed by a red maker, based on the motif of Okinawa "Bingata Dye" The complex design is difficult to reproduce with regular dyes (dyes) but we ask craftsmen who require skilled ink dyeing techniques, so you can create a unique multicolored product. Can be used as a tenugui or as a table runner for home decoration.
