Description:
Output Impedance Matching:
Output signal resistance must meet the following requirements
According to the formula: I=U/R (current = voltage/resistor)
Therefore, the maximum current that the signal receiver can produce is equal to the power supply voltage split by the signal resistance.
This way, the current generator still has some resistance.
Therefore, the formula is:
Power supply voltage/(signal internal resistor + current generator internal resistor) = output constant current
The power voltage of our module is 5~32V. Therefore, using a low voltage power supply and the signal has a large internal resistance, output constant current is not enough.
Signal matching requirements are as follows:
For 24V power supply, the signal resistance should not exceed 1000 ohms.
For 12V power supply, the signal resistance should not exceed 500 ohms.
For 5V power supply, the signal resistance should not exceed 200 ohms.
This module can be used with PLC, frequency converters, and servos. If you use these products, the voltage of the module must match the interface. If you are not sure, try 5V first, then try 12V or 24V power supply. Use the lowest voltage as possible under normal function conditions. There is another way. In general, PLC, frequency converter or server has COM+, COM-power output interface, which can supply power directly from here.
