Description

This teapot is handmade by Tamimitsu Umehara, the second generation of the Tamakitsu Pottery. The second generation of the Gyokou Kiln is the 3rd generation Eimimitsu (Kotaki), which is also a traditional crafter.
Hand pulled with sateen soil. Red camellia pattern on the surface. After firing, it is smoked black again. This teapot is perfect for those who are drinking a slightly larger cup of tea.
Every teapot is made of ceramic tea strainer, called Ceramesh.
The soil is drawn with sperma and firing soil.
Dimensions and capacity are handmade, so individual measurements may vary. In addition, depending on the baking process, the color of the kiln changes may differ from the image.
