Description

This teapot is handmade by Tamimitsu Umehara, the second generation of the Tamakitsu Pottery. The second generation of the Gyokou Kiln is the 3rd generation Eimimitsu (Kotaki), which is also a traditional crafter.
This teapot was pulled up with sushi soil. Each piece is carved into a teapot that is finished with a cherry blossom carving. The sculpter is show. The sculpted cherry blossom hanging from the lid matches the suma soil. Size is for one person. For those who can brew their favorite tea.
Every teapot is made of ceramic tea strainer, called Ceramesh.
The soil is drawn with sperma and firing soil.
Dimensions and capacity are handmade, so individual measurements may vary. In addition, depending on the baking process, the color of the kiln changes may differ from the image.
