The load down spring is unique to Hyper Pros who lower the height of the vehicle by changing the rate and oil level adjustments, without having to change the free length of the spring. It does not sink too much under the weight of only (1G), and is designed to be firmly lowered down in the riding state (1G), so there is no need to shorten the side stand.
