Feature 1:
SPII High Power Ignition Coil
The performance of the ignition coil is primarily the secondary voltage (discharge voltage) to the electrode of the plug and the discharge current flows between the electrode (plug gap) after discharge has started.
SPII high-power coil generates secondary voltage of approximately 40,000 V. (Normal 2000-30000V)
In addition, the discharge current is 1.5 to 2 times the normal, and the discharge time is 2 to 3 times the normal.
Larger secondary voltage can mainly increase the plug gap and improve ignition performance.
Discharge current is a seed fire, so it is basically the larger the better.
The ignition coil is a kind of transformer, so the current flowing into the primary coil and the voltage generated is converted to the voltage and current of the secondary coil to output (spark discharge).
Therefore, a large current is sent to the primary coil and generate a large voltage, resulting in a large spark discharge.
In general, high power ignition coil has low resistance to the primary coil to make it easier to flow large current.
The primary coil resistance value of the SPII high power coil is 1.2 ohms (normal is 3 to 6 ohms). In addition, the coil iron core is a closed magnetic channel (ring) type that makes it easy to generate large flux and is small and lightweight.

[SPII Control Unit]
The SPII control unit has a high speed microcomputer to control the optimal power flow and ignition time for each turn.
The body has a switch for easy operation to select ignition curve (map) and switch for rev limit settings. In addition, it is equipped with a 12V digital output line for use with an external tachometer. The body is sealed with plastic, so it is shockproof and waterproof.
