B.V.D. was founded in New York City in 1876 by three young people in Bradley, Voorhees & Day. It was named B.V.D. The basic philosophy is simple and functional. It also provides extra comfort while protecting it from being durable and long lasting.

B.V.D.は1876年、Bradley,Voorhees&Dayの3人の若者たちの手によってニューヨークで創立されました。その3人の頭文字をとって、B.V.D.と名づけられました。基本理念はあくまでシンプルで機能的。又、丈夫で長持ちすることを頑固なまでに守りつつ、さらに着やすさをプラスしました。
