Why have sensors? Some drivers and applications are more suitable for sensored motors. Some drivers require smoother throttle control in racing environments. When coming out of the corner, the sensorless motor may not provide optimal throttle control and may result in a slight surge of power of the motor. The sensor motor makes the throttle feel smoother and linear and allows for more precise throttle management. If you simply bashing and dont race on the track, you probably wont know the full benefits of sensor operation.
