Shuffleboard is a sport that competes with score by pushing discs on the court with elongated cues and holding more discs to the scoring diagram depicted within the court.

Shuffleboard is a sport that originated from the name "Shoveboard".

The Japan Shuffleboard Association was established in 1979 and the International Shuffleboard Association of three countries with the United States and Canada.
International competitions are also hosted and in 1988 and 1999, Japan became the host of international competitions, so the spread of shuffleboard was increased.
