Surf Traction Pad Installation Guide:
1. In order to install the surf traction pad, the surfboard must completely free of sand, dirt, wax, and others. Sometimes stickers fit perfectly, sometimes stickers are cut in sections but not all boards are equally sized You may need to trim it. Basically, if you do not have a sticker, you want it like the wax job you slub.
2. Remember, the glue is serious. It hardens harsh elements abuse for the season or two seasons. So do not confuse the front of the rear surfboard. Oh and sadly, this must be mentioned by placing the surf tow pad on the top of the surfboard, make sure you are on the surfboard, not the bottom side. Attach strap hole, leash place and center line to the middle of the outer pad. 8mm between the middle and side of the traction pad, this is like a pen or pencil and can be used for measurement. Look at the tow pad line design on the right place and stick it on. It is a little easier if you remove the protective tape and gradually fix the pad.
3. Surf traction pads are basically an everlasting wax job that prevents your backfoot from slipping off the board. Some surfers like the extra spunsy spring they offer when you step on them for tricks, hate them when thick bubbles catch the toe. Its all up to you.
