After researching the famous tones of Perry Gates, Thomas designed and created a frequency spectrum recorder to plot the unique sound properties of Humbucker. "We created a scanner to record the frequency range of perly gates.I read decibels at various points of frequency range from 70Hz to 95kHz, and found that pickups on the Parely Gates Les Poles differ significantly from others.Very special values.This results in a pattern on how to wind the coil." Thomas continues. Thomas decided to take a different approach to purely focus on sound instead of aiming to create products like PAF using the same Gibson style materials. "We use 0.061mm enameled insulated copper wire," he will.
