Child-safe unpainted and beveled finish
The unpainted finish gives the color and texture of the solid wood itself, and the corners of each piece are "bevelled" so it is gentle to the touch of babies and little children.

Processing and packaging are done in our own workshop.
In our workshop, we take care of the building blocks within the little hands of a child, from the machining pieces to the packing of a building border.

Oak Village
Since its inception in 1974, we have continued to create products using renewable resources that are renewable with the aim of a sustainable circulated society.
Using our extensive knowledge of wooden construction techniques and wood construction, we have worked on a wide range of materials from furniture to toys, stationery, lacquered ware to wooden construction.

[Material]
Made from solid Japanese wood in the appropriate places
We insist on using domestic materials in order to effectively utilize the forest resources covered by the forests, and we propose a living with the environment.
In Japan where a wide variety of trees is growing, we are especially actively using hardwoods. The hardwood grown in Japan is a variety of different types of wood and has a lot of fine materials, and each piece has a rich expression. In contrast to coniferous trees such as cedar and cypress that grow quickly, hardwood trees such as Nara and Hippopotama, are also a material that is highly demanding in manufacturing and processing techniques that match the personality of the tree.
We aim to understand the characteristics of each tree, such as wood grain, color, and so on, and to make use of the forest resources that you are close to you without having to sacrifice the suitable materials.

[Technology]
Using Hidas craftsmanship to create a product that can be used for a long time.
In order to maximize the beauty and durability of solid wood, we aim to create a mono that can be used for a long period of time by Japanese craftsmen.
Since it understands the characteristics of the material and uses a method that adapts to the purpose of work, advanced processing is vital.
The method is a traditional Japanese cultivation process, but we have evolved and developed technologies that fit the structure and use of modern furniture and woodwork.

[Design]
To bring out the charm of the tree to the fullest.
Not only is the design pursuit of beautiful shapes, it is also important to use and safety, but also how it reflects the nature and feel of the material. Therefore, we strive to reflect the idea of "suitable materials" in the design and bring out the charm of the wood to the fullest.
For example, the Kabano Desk series uses hardwood and birch trees grown in Japan. The design highlights the edges (grid) that can be expressed because of the solid and delicate wood. The wooden toy "that onomotape" uses the primitive shapes of the natural world such as rocks and branches in the motif, and the design makes it easier to connect to the outside natural world.
In addition, we have renewed the movement of the time, while enhancing the appeal of the wood from the design side.
