Mach 2 "1/72 Douglas Aircraft DC-8/50 Ruffthanza" plastic model.

The DC-8 is the first generation jet aircraft and is the worlds first large jet aircraft.
Developed as the successor to the DC-7C in 1952, when the order was officially launched in 1955, it was ordered from American airlines and airlines from various countries including Japan and contributed to the jet of long-distance routes around the world.
The 50 series is equipped with a Pratt and Whitney JT3D turbo fan engine that has been inferior to its competitors by improving silence, fuel economy, and mileage distance.
In Japan, JAL adopts the DC-8-32 as the first jet airplane in 1960, and then held the 30, 50, and 60 series DC-8, it was used as a flagship for international and domestic flights until it retracted in 1987.
